On the 2nd day, the king, the minister and courtiers had completed their daily works and came to the court with eager. Bhoja Raja approached the throne. People were watching without breathing. He put foot on the first step. Vinoda Ranjitha idol kept calm. He lifted the foot to keep on the 2nd step. Then the idol on the 2nd step was laughing and clapping its hands. She said, “Enough Bhoja Raja, Enough! We are saying well wishing morals to you. But you may not receiving them. If we dip black rock in water for several days and wash, it won’t turn as white and soft. It is like that. The first idol Vinoda Ranjitha told you so many things. But you put deaf ear and again you came to climb up on the throne with great style along with your ministers, sub-ordinates and courtiers. Oh! Bhoja Raja! Will this throne available to you? Your effort is like the desire of handicapped man who had no legs to capture the honey hive on the branch of height tree. Stop here. Give answers to my questions. Otherwise, go back to home. Think that you can’t achieve this throne. Oh! Bhoja Raja! I’m telling further, you hear. Our Vikramadithya had kindness, generosity, morality, penance, helping nature, peace, loving nature, good attitude, good believes, dare, adventure, risk taking and so on. Do you have these qualities in you? I can say that you don’t have. Hence, leave your opinion to climb up the throne. Go back!”
Bhoja Raja and his minister kept calm for few minutes with shy and guilty. Then he said, “Oh, the diamond in the idols! You please tell me about your king’s qualities. Let me become as blessed by hearing it.”
The idol was pleased with his obedience and said, “Oh Bhoja Rajendra [i.e. you are like Indra in the kings] Listen! I’m the idol on the 2nd step of this throne. My name is Madanabhisheka [The meaning of this name is ‘Shower bathe with love instead of water]. Yester day, as you heard by Vinoda Rajitha, Vikramadithya was ruling his kingdom for 6 months and touring in forests and other places for 6 months in a year. In those days, there was a thick forest at 10 Amadas distance to the Ujjain Nagar i.e. city. It was known as Brahadaranya. In that forest, an ancient Kalika Devi’s temple was there. To that temple, at half Amada [Ancient measurement of distance. Amada = 4 miles in FPS system], distance, there was a big ‘Moduga Tree’. [Its leaves are use to prepare leaf plates. I don’t know its botanical name. I request the readers to consider]. To the branch of that tree, Bhethala was hanging vertically inverted. [Bhethala was the leader i.e. king of ghosts. He was one of the chives in the Pramada Gana of God Shiva. Pramada Gana means army of God Shiva.] In that Bruhadaranya, there was a saint by name Gnana Seela. He had done penance for long time. He became powerful. But he was not good in heart. One day he left his penance and thought to get the control on Bhethala and Goddess Kalika Devi. He had gone to the temple and made pooja [devotion] and Yaga there.
